Using thermochromatic technology, Hot Dot offers real-time monitoring for peak performance and maximum awareness.
The Patch changes color from black to yellow as your body temperature reaches potentially unsafe levels. As your body temperature decreases back to a normal range, the patch will change back to its original color. The Patch will alert users so they can quickly take action when there is a potential risk of heat related illness.

How does it work?
The Hot Dot Body Temperature Alert Patch is small, durable, water resistant and visible at a glance.
The Patch uses thermocromatic technology to indicate the user’s body temperature changes. The heat sensitive technology reflects the rise and fall of the body temperature. The Alert Patch works only after it is removed from the packaging and applied to your skin.
How do you wear it?
The Hot Dot Body Temperature Alert Patch must be placed on an area of the body with blood vessels close to the surface of the skin.
To ensure optimal accuracy, it should be placed on ONE of the following locations:
Inside of the elbow
Inside of the wrist
How to apply and monitor the hot dot alert patch
- When monitoring is no longer necessary, simply remove the Hot Dot Body Temperature Alert Patch and discard. Do not reuse or reapply.
- Recommended for use on person's old enough to self monitor and effectively observe the patch during its use. Hot Dot Body Temperature Alert Patch should not be used to manage important health concerns, as it is only a body temperature change alert indicator. The Hot Dot Body Temperature Alert Patch is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease or health condition.
